Here's a silly little something I painted for my house. It's based on a 19th Century Parisian cafe.
The source imagery.
Robb's mock-up. We made some changes, mostly based on how we planned to install this thing.
I still need to trim the bottom edge.
In the studio. As I said, this is just a silly little nothin'. If you want to see something really impressive, ask Allie to share what she's been working on. _________________ *

Incredible! The red steps look especially scary now, like you are walking up its tongue! _________________ www.deelitedesign.com |

The neighbors are still trying to wrap their brains around the idea that I painted it. But, yeah, they love it.

How cool is that?!!! I love it too Lisa! You know, you could have a whole series of these...one for every holiday! I bet Santa would be a big hit...especially if you have some little reindeer walking up the steps (Santa eating reindeer...that's a new twist on Christmas!)...or how about the Easter Bunny? Cupid could be fun as well...The possibilities are endless! |

Cleta -- you didn't see the mummified rats that were found when we re-did our foundation! Very scary. _________________ *

I'm already thinking about next year. I want to do a Day of the Dead candy skull thing.
Lots of glitter on that one!
Maybe Allie and I could both make them, since were quasi-neighbors and share a love of that imagery. (Probably because we both have birthdays around Halloween.) Who wants to join us? _________________ *
