Arlene,
Is it products that you do not like, or colors you do not like, or overmixes from jobs that you don't know what to do with?
I have mixed scraps of leftover materials together to create an entirely new "product" and then used it on a job. If you have a bizarre color, you can throw a tablespoon of it at a time into appropriate jobs, and use it up that way.
On the other hand, if it is a product that you don't like, I think a swap is good. I have some aqua extender from F/E that I do not intend to use. Anybody interested? Just pay the shipping.

I think it would be a good idea to set up a section on this site for product swap.... _________________ Joe Greco

Great Idea you guys!!!!!!!!!!
Arlene that is great.
I spoke to Pat and we are going to build a Product swap page on the Learntofaux.com site. Then everyone can upload the products they don't want or want to exchange.
We will let you know when this is done.
Anita, I do need some aqua-extender for a project coming up. Are you sure you don't mind parting with it? |

Yea! What a great idea! I, too, have stuff sitting around that has been used maybe once...or not at all. Would be most happy to send it to someone that will use it. And UPS is right across the street from my office - how convenient!
Let me start with a bottle of Proceed Hansa Yellow Opaque dispersion...I got 2 by mistake and the place I bought it from said "keep it". I will never use that much HYO. For the price of shipping, it's yours! |

Tania,
PM me your mailing address. I have about 3/4 of a gallon.
If you want it, it's yours. Let me know before Monday, trash day, because right now I have a box it will fit in. After Monday, it will be gone.

I have blending solvent and activator from FE but I think it is 3 years old. I probably should dump it on amnesty day here before it explodes. _________________ Linda Marsteller |

Excellent idea! I would suggested a WANTED section. Who knows, maybe there's something we have that we would never post and never use that someone might need.

We are going to see if we can build something user friendly that you can upload to. I think it is a great idea! _________________ If you can imagine it, we can paint it.

I have nearly a gallon of venetian gem amethyst. Probably 3 years old. If anyone is interested, I'll open the bucket and check that it isn't moldy.

Linda,
How much blending solvent and activator do you have? Activator can lose its strength if it gets too old and there is a lot of air in the bottle, but if it is nearly full, it should still be good.

I love this! I have some stuff that I ordered to do a board and either didn't care for it or just haven't sold it at all. Just taking up space on the shelves; it would be great to swap around to someone who needs it. Whoo Hoo! Can't wait till I can post stuff! Super idea! _________________ Your Friend in PA,

Anita, a full gallon each, unopened. I bought it before I decided I was lazy and the fewer steps to a finished project, the better! LOL _________________ Linda Marsteller |

I would be happy to take them off your hands. Since they are unopened, do you want something for them?

| the oikos was a little crumbly, maybe I got a dry batch, but for jobs I use Minervas..(same as dimensions) I happen to like Mckloskys its really hard to get on LI now but it burnishes very shiny |
