YAY!!!! We had our grand opening yesterday and it exceeded my wildest dreams. OR should I say, my 5:00 AM fears that no one would come were put to rest. We had about 180 people!!!! YAY!!!
I was so busy every single second, people even came EARLY, stayed for hours and seemed interested and happy.
We had Gary Jones, owner and inventor of Colormaker Floors - you know the concrete I always use - doing demos.
We had Neil Cody from Modern Masters doing demos.
And yours truly demoing Golden Proceed and Adicolor.
We had generous donations of product from Golden, Modern Masters, Adicolor and Faux a la Carte (though those goodies from Faux a la Carte have not arrived yet, I wanted to acknowledge and thank them).
I absolutely love the Golden Coffee Mugs. THey have a write up like an MSDS for a colour called "Raw Java" that talks about coffee like a paint and refers to "long lonely nights in the studio". Hilarious - every artist must have one!
Anyway, I just wanted to share my happiness with all you guys and thank you for all your support and love from afar.
Today, I'm hanging with the kids, renting videos and eating take out!
