LOL That is one of the students that asked to not have her pic on the internet. I believe she had some problems in the past with this. Great woman though!

Wow Elena, already sold the two panels!!! Pat's business conference might have helped you ( we had a very cool lecture by Pat about business issues and everyone loved it) but I am sure you are also great at selling your work , you smile and...they sign the check
As far as the classes themselves is concerned , I must say that this was quite a challenge for everybody myself included. Definitely very intense , long hours, all that compensated by the notes provided by Craig and the nice atmosphere created by Pat.
As far as class intensity is concerned Pat and I had quite a few conversations about that and other things and we are coming up with a whole bunch of projects and ideas that we plan to make happen through 2009.
For example, Pat had the idea of proposing an extra day ( free) after the class for people who want to stay and complete their panel; there is always one of the studios available in the building where Pat's is located and this studio could be opened for students willing to complete their work right after the class has ended.
Basically, each panel I teach is programmed on the shortest time possible. We try to take as little time we can off of people's business schedule and at the same time I try to get people complete their panel so that they can start market it as soon as they come back home.
I have enough experience in teaching and painting to make very short demos and help people if they are a little behind. The down side of that is obviously a little bit of pressure put on everybody and the fact that I would also have more time during my demos to get a little more in depth on many topics.
The extra day added by Pat's proposal seems to me a very good way of releasing the pressure. On the educational aspect of things, we are also coming up with ideas that would make short tutorials ( in video and text format) available directly on the school's website. We would then recommend people having signed for a class to check out a certain number of our online tutorials.
This means that we could help people get prepared for the class before it actually starts and also give them a little more time after to finish the job .
No need to stay that Pat and I are quite excited about that!!

Yes Pascal, I smiled so happy to show him my new panels that I was so proud of! never push them, I went to him all smiles telling him: "OMG you have to see this!!! look at what I painted last week at the class with The French artist!!! isn't this amazing??And they're biiig like this!!Oh, just glorious!!!" -Then he said to me smiling already:-"And how much would these go for?" -to what I said (convinced in my mind that I was telling him a bargain price) "The parrots 3 thousand and the landscape 5 thousand they're really big"- smiled wide...he said: "I want them both!!" then he turned to his wife to tell her about 'his find' because 'this niche is exactly the style of our new house in Ocala!
so yes, that is a very good price and I'm very proud of myself. I'm sharing the numbers with you guys so you can imagine the extent of my joy.
I know this is just the begining, this is another inspiration for me to better myself. I know I have a lot to learn, and I want to do it expediciously.
I've been telling people how much my Williamization has meant to me, because it's such a turning point in my life it makes me want to scream out of joy. William taught me how to see, and I'm glad I had his Level I class before these classes.
Pascal, you took me to the next level, and I know you have LOTS more to give and I want to learn all your techniques, so we'll see each other again, no doubt about it. Thanks a million for these fantastic classes, I loved the fast pace
Every time I sell my work I think of my friend Pat Ganino, and follow his wise guidance about selling your work. I have had people turn red at my prices and I just smile wide and think to myself "oh, you can't afford it...so sorry...but someone will" which helps me keep my good posture and honest smile (and not have a Maalox moment) enthusiasm is crucial...because is contagious, even better: it's a filter, enthusiasm will push away the negative people who get very annoyed by it, and will attract the ones that get it
I'll always be in search of more excellence hehehe
Oh, this is my Parrot's Niche
LOL need to paint the claws before delivery
Theresa, thank you, didn't think of a giclee, I'll do that

I have not had time to devote to the Forum since my return from Connecticut; my feet have hit the ground running since I stepped off of the plane, but I want to take the opportunity to express my gratitude to Pascal, Pat, and Craig. I was fortunate enough to be able to take BOTH the Parrot Niche and Borghese Temple classes with Pascal.
My head is still spinning from everything I was able to learn during this exciting, grueling, and informative week - learning painting, composition, and various techniques from Pascal, being inspired and learning how to market myself as an artist from Pat, and seeing how important it is to be organized from Craig. Pascal, Pat, and Craig are definitely the “tremendous trio”. Each time I take a class from them, I improve as an artist; they have so much information stored in their corporate minds! I cannot recommend classes with them more highly!!! I will post my panels when I can.

just a thought, about giclées, elena-
while you should be proud of your painting and it's awesome you sold the panels, i think the copyright of that design still belongs to pascal, does it not?
but i have no doubt you can now design and paint your own unique version of parrots, and be a huge success selling them, now that you have had such good recent experience.
