I attended Rebecca Slaton's Beginning and Advance Cabinet classes at Surfaces this last week. I can't say enough good things about the experience. She has a wonderful facility, with plenty of room, very friendly and helpful staff. Thorough, detailed notes with all the steps for each finish are provided, samples were done on actual cabinet doors. The instruction was very well organized, and Rebecca also works in the field, so you also get practical knowledge of what works and what doesn't.
I now have a nice variety of samples, ranging from old and distressed to contemporary, with some beautiful, but practical wood grains.

These classes were time well spent.

I'm envious! Glad to hear you got to go. I keep thinking maybe I can take the next class, but haven't been able to yet! Rebecca, Bruce and Ashliegh are wonderful people.

Nice looking samples. I agree they are the most helpful people. They always answer my questions. I've been wanting to take another class there too.

very nice. Looks like a fantastic class. THis is the way to make money in the faux biz. Renos are going to go way up. A great thing to add to your portfolio and obviously well loved, high end finishes.

Hey Rebecca, I am looking forward to your March class on Cottage Finishes and I have sold the "Slaton Bronze" cabinet finish you helped me develop again!

I can't wait to take the cabinet class in March .
As always Rebecca and the gang give that extra touch with everything they do.
