| Hey guys. I am researching stain made with walnut crystals. I see that Lynne has posted about it and seems to have some experience with this. I would love to hear any advice she or anyone else to offer. |

just get a bunch of walnut crystals (sometime called van dyke crystals) and make your own water based stain. super easy- just add water and let sit overnight to dissolve. the more water, the lighter the stain will be.
just great to keep around. so many other things you can do with it.
LaMar what do you need to do? _________________ .

I use them all the time, usually to stain new wood before painting it, if your final finish will be distressed. That way when you rub through to the wood, it doesn't look new! _________________ florenceart.net |
