Hey! I just got these cool samples in the mail from a company called Plaztex. It's about time someone thought of these! But I wish I would have!!!!
Check out their website at: www.plaztex.com
They come in all sizes and smooth, as well as 3 or 4 different textures to match wall textures. Brilliant idea! _________________ Art Inspires |

yeah i got some too-
they aren't really of any use to me, but i guess it's a good idea.
i nearly always paint the outlet covers to match my walls. but they tend to be smooth. _________________ .

Well, they aren't much use to me either. But sometimes you paint over a plate on a mural and you have to deal with it. But for those people that are doing wall treatments all the time, this is a really cool thing, I think. I don't know how they got my name, maybe off one of the forum things or somethin' I have signed onto along the way. I just thought it was a cool thing to pass along. _________________ Art Inspires |

I went out and bought some last week. We have hand troweled walls, can't wait to see how they work. I hate when there is a plug in the middle of a mural. I don't paint over the cheap plastic ones because the paint scratches off so easy. I would rather see an unpainted one than one that's been painted and a short time later looks like trash. _________________ Shelia

you have to sand and prime a piece of plastic before you can paint it. it's rather a lot of work to do that for a whole room.
so i can see where these new plates would save a lot of time. _________________ .
