This mural is in my husbands garage for his cars. He wanted an old town with his cars,friends, planes, etc. I decided to use a scene from Arizona which includes John Puges famous mural Standin on the corner in Winslow Arizona. The hole story really fits the mural. I have a long way to go but I thought it would be nice to post the process, since I enjoy looking at all of the forums great talents!!!!!

I am astonished and impressed by your work, southpawsue! It is so beautifully designed and executed. I could never do machines the way you have so wonderfully rendered them....it is a true labor of love. How long has this project taken ?
(Did you know that "mahal" is a word for love in much of SE Asia?

| Hey gang. I'm back from my break, this is a challenge posting all this as I'm not the sharpest knife in the draw with computers or taking photos or posting I see it's backwards that I posted sorry. Elana I'm gonna pm you for a few ????s with iphoto you seem to be amazing with the computer and as an artist!!! Linda I've been working on this at the least 7 months. I have gained alot more ground I have to go through all the pics so hang in there this is gonna take me at least 1 year to finish there is another side with an old gas station scene. Jennifer you are the coolist!!! I did not name this my husband Ray named it I originally didn't like it but now that you explained I love it!!!! and thanks for such great compliments that's what keeps me going I'm not even close to where I wanna be.Oh Patty This is the garage at our house that Ray built that holds 7 cars so it's very huge mural. Ok guys let me get some help with the pics and I'll be back- Sue

| Girlfriend this is just brilliant! I love how you have rendered the cars, the people and the perspective looks right on.. I am sure your husband is loving you!..Does he do body work for a living or does he work on the mechanics? Either way what a great area for him to be working in .. terrific, and its for you!!!
